Being a part of United Leadership Inc was an amazing experience. The group I was selected to be a member of were all from different backgrounds. We went from complete strangers, into a family over night. The group leader, Chyna Sawyers, was every bit of what to expect out of a leader. Dr. Tee trained them well, so they could turn around and train us. The voter initiative put me out of my comfort zone to interact with people over than my friends. This experience has also taught me things to help me on my job with Congressman Bennie G. Thompson. This organization may be small now, but in the future I will be proud that I was a part.
